Today is MLK Day, on which we celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. - a man who sought to raise the public consciousness of racism, to end racial discrimination and segregation in the United States, and to utilize massive, nonviolent civil disobedience to end “domination of democracy” by corporate and military power.
